DataArt, a global software engineering firm with a strong presence across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, today announced the launch of a new internship program aimed at individuals with a passion for technology and aspirations to begin a career in the software industry. The initiative will be rolled out across several of DataArt’s development hubs, including its offices in Sofia and Varna, Bulgaria.
The program is designed to provide aspiring professionals—regardless of their prior technical experience—with the skills and practical exposure needed to build a successful IT career. It targets entry-level candidates and technology enthusiasts looking to take their first step into the world of software development.
Internship tracks will cover a broad range of roles, including .NET development, quality assurance (QA), and business analysis. The positions will be regularly updated to align with active projects and business demands across the company’s diverse portfolio.
The three-month internship offers participants the opportunity to acquire technical skills and reach a Junior-level proficiency in their selected field. Each intern is paired with a dedicated mentor, who provides guidance and support throughout the program. At the same time, the structure emphasizes autonomy and hands-on learning within geographically distributed teams.
All interns are hired under a full-time employment contract in accordance with Bulgarian labor law, receiving competitive pay and full access to DataArt’s employee benefits. While flexible work is possible, in-office presence is encouraged to ensure maximum integration and learning.
Interns receive monthly assessments and feedback sessions, culminating in a final evaluation. Those who successfully complete the program may be offered permanent roles within the company.
Elisaveta Pavlova, HR Manager at DataArt Bulgaria, commented:
“Our goal is not just to offer internships on paper, but to truly train and empower aspiring tech professionals with skills they can use in the real world. We want our interns to grow into full-time team members and continue their journey with us. Despite the current challenges in the IT job market, we firmly believe that investing in human capital is a long-term strategy that pays off. Every effort we make in this direction is worth it.”
The internship program reflects DataArt’s ongoing commitment to building and sustaining a highly skilled and diverse technology workforce. By nurturing new talent across its regional hubs, the company strengthens its delivery capacity while fostering innovation and inclusivity.
